Open Source „Lżejszy od powietrza” EP – premiera 2 lipca

2 lipca miała miejsce premiera drugiego wydawnictwa zespołu Open Source pt. „Lżejszy od powietrza”. Spójne z tytułem, lekkie flow i akustyczny hip-hop przełamują krytyczne refleksje Anonima. Efektem jest 6 numerów podanych w sposób subtelny i nienachalny, mimo to wymagający w odbiorze.

Open Source wielokrotnie wzbogacał brzmienie 2 akustycznych gitar, zapraszając na koncerty zaprzyjaźnionych artystów. Wynikiem tego jest wielu gości, którzy wsparli zespół w nagraniach. Są nimi:

Janek Jiggah Michalec (trąbka)
Ind (Gadabit / rap)
Jahdeck (Chonabibe / beatbox, wokal)
Piotrek Dankiewicz (Sex Machine Band / kontrabas)

Nagraniem i realizacją zajął się Lech Pukos (Gunslinger Studio). Autorem okładki jest tegoroczny laureat lubelskich wyróżnień kulturalnych „Żurawie” – Kosma Ostrowski.

Open Source “Lżejszy od powietrza” (“Lighter Than Air”) EP

The second EP of the Polish band Open Source was released on July 2nd, 2012. Coherent with the title, laid-back sounds of their acoustic hip-hop are contrasted with the critical lyrics of the trio’s rapper Anonim. The 6 tracks are subtle and all but blatant, but still demanding.

Open Source often enriched the sound of 2 acoustic guitars by inviting other artists to their concerts. These collaborations resulted in an EP backed up by many guests. They are:
Señor Efebo (percussion instruments)
Jiggah (trumpet)
Ind (rap)
Jahdeck (beatbox, vocal)
Piotrek Dankiewicz (double-bass)
Skorup (rap)
Fat Matthew (vocal).
All recordings were realised, mixed and mastered by Lech Pukos (Gunslinger Studio). The cover art was designed by Kosma Ostrowski.
